The day
National Wreaths Across America Day this year is Saturday, December 19, 2026. It is the same day at cemeteries across the country. At IOOF Cemetery, 600 Buena Vista Road, Hollister, there is a short ceremony, and then the wreaths are laid.
The time goes on the events calendar once it is set, or call the post and ask.
As each wreath is placed, the person laying it says the veteran's name aloud. Some of the names have not been said in a long time.
Sponsor a wreath
Every wreath on the day is one somebody sponsored. Sponsoring is done on the Wreaths Across America site, through the page the post and Auxiliary keep there, so the wreath is laid here in Hollister and not somewhere else.
Sponsor a wreath through the post and Auxiliary
You pay Wreaths Across America directly; nothing goes through this website. If you would rather not sponsor online, call the post and somebody will help.
Come and help
Anyone can come and lay wreaths: families, neighbors, scouts, whole classes. The same page lets you sign up as a volunteer, which helps us know how many to expect, but you are welcome either way.
